In this painting the artist have shown an atecture of camel formed by the combination of animals , birds , humans and Maru (princess) is enjoying the ride of camel by sitting on it. It is known to all that Camel is known as the ship of desert. In Desert carrying loads or goods from one place to another becomes difficult with any other animal but not with Camel. In India mostly camels are found in Rajasthan and there are few varieties available them like Bikaneri, Jaisalmeri, Sikari. A camel is an even-toed ungulate within the genus Camelus, bearing distinctive fatty deposits known as “humps” on its back. The two surviving species of camel are the Dromedary or one-humped camel which inhabits the Middle East and the horn of Africa; and the Bactrian or two humped camel which inhabits Central Asia. The average life expectancy of a camel is 40 to 50 years. A full grown adult camel stands 6 feet at the sholder and 7 feet at the hump. Camel can run at upto 65km/h. Camel plays an important role in Rajasthan tourism. Besides camel milk is rich in vitamins,minerals, proteins and immunoglobulins. Camel meat also have been eaten for centuries. Now reduction in camel’s count is noted across the world and the reason behind this is they are not feded properly. We all should save this ship of desert from being drown. Camel in itself is a wonderful God made ship for desert because in desert where it is very difficult for us to walk at that desert camel can easily travel thousands of kilometers without any problem. So in this painting we have shown that how at the time of kings, all animals like elephants, horses and many other living beings togather used to celebrate the festival of desert. In this painting the have shown the importance of love between the animals and humans by this atecture. In this painting Maru(princess) sitting over the atecture and enjoying the Royal ride of Camel.
