LION`S CHARIOT
Hindi(It’s a looking mirror and this art is known as Mirror Engraving)
Your lover can leave you, wife can leave you, even your son and daughter can leave you alone and go but “Maa”(mother), she always remains in your breath. Maa is like salt on the Earth. Maa runs as a blood in our veins, beats with our heart as heartbeats. Without Maa there is no existence of the world. Those women who have felt the pain in becoming mother , they can only understand better than everyone what is the importance of being Maa. Maa has its various forms and names like Lord Shiva’s Aadishakti Parvati, Bhramacharini, Sankadmata, Kalratri, Mahagori, etc. Apart from these names Maa is also known by names like Sherawali, Durga, Jagadamba, Ambe, etc. But most beautiful name which suits and comes with the feeling is “Maa”. The one who have come to know about Maa will not dare to come near the way of Maa and her Chariot, even Gods did not had the guts to do this. The only truth is that always be on the way of truth, leen yourself towards Maa, always keep Maa in your eyes and never let her go away from your eyes. Navaratri is the festival of which we celebrate for Maa, for nine days so atleast in these nine days one should know about Maa as much as possible. All these things you have to do for Maa who gave you birth and for that Maa who created this whole world. Durga is the Principal form of Mother Goddess in Hinduism. Durga as the root cause of creation, sustenance an annihilation. In ancient stories also it is mentioned that whenever the world was in distress by sin, Maa Durga Manifests herself in divine form to protect the world. In this painting we can see Maa on her Chariot of two tigers and Maa orders her two devis (created by Maa) to destroy all the sins from earth. When ever sin tries to go high on earth then Maa Sheraawali comes in her different avatars to make the world free from all sins. Thats why in India Maa Sherawali is considered as the Principal Mother Goddess and she comes in her various forms.
